EXHIBITOR INFORMATION
NOTE: All exhibitors must provide with entries, your insurance company name, policy number, expiration date and proof of at least #2 million liability insurance.
All trucks and trailers must enter the grounds by Gate #6 off of Huntley Road. Due to limited space on the grounds, car parking will be limited to Fair Board handicap and assigned permit holders only.
The sheep will be housed in the Heavy Horse/Sheep Barn and the showing will be either inside the barn or adjacent to it.
Please be advised of the following:
- Richmond Agricultural Society entry forms are preferred; the owner’s name, address in full, animal name, date of birth, animal I.D. registration number (extended pedigree not required), and proof of liability insurance must be on the entry form.
- Entries cannot be changed after closing date except for substitutions approved on show day with proper documentation.
- Exhibitors will be requested, at the discretion of the Committee, to remove entries should one or more show evidence of a contagious disease or be otherwise considered unfit for show. A health certificate will not be required.
- All animals must be registered in the exhibitor’s name on or before closing date of entries.
- Only one (1) entry per class is eligible from each exhibitor, except 2 entries per class to a maximum of 2 classes of the exhibitor’s choice. Exhibitors are eligible to show 6 animals per breed with a maximum of 3 entries per class.
- The Sheep Committee strongly recommends that exhibitors in individual classes wear black trousers and white tops.
- A new commercial Sheep section is to encourage new exhibitors to display their commercial breeding animals. All entries in this section are in-eligible to compete in other sections. Animals must be identified and should have parentage information available. Registration certificate is not applicable to this section. Same classes, rules and prizes will be applicable to this section as all other sections.
- Sections 32-37 have the same classes and prize money.

Vehicle and handicap parking will be available in the Lions Park lot by entrance off of Huntley Road. Vehicles on the grounds without proper permits will be towed at owner expense.
